The type designation for this type is an area patrol boat. Two MAN diesel engines of 300 hp each give the boat a speed of around 40 km\/h. In normal service, the boat is crewed by 2 men, who have modern technical equipment at their disposal, such as radar, echo sounder, autopilot, 4 radio systems and explosion protection.
