The frame is made from 2.5 mm thick steel plates, formed with 100-tonne pressing, which gives a solid foundation that can withstand hard impacts. Axles, beams and links are made from imported, specially formulated nylon materials, giving a good balance between strength and flexibility in the chassis.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePower is transferred via a dual drive system with all-metal gears for shift and output, designed to pull heavy loads. The steering uses a heavy-duty reverse portal axle combination with a maximum Ackermann angle of 5 degrees and inward and backward tilt angles of up to 8 degrees, giving more precise and stable steering – especially at higher speeds. The model also features CROSSRC’s first rear balanced link, introduced on this model, for even more finely tuned control.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe suspension is handled by 26 mm CNC-machined aluminium shock absorbers with adjustable preload and a maximum travel of 40 mm. The differential and gearbox shifting are controlled by servos with full travel, giving intelligent protection against overloading the servos.
