This greatly improves the vehicle's reliability by making the rear axle suspension more impact-resistant in unexpected situations on sloping ground.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe EMO XL is based on Cross-RC's 1\/8 EMO platform, which has gone through three generations of development with continuous strengthening and upgrades. The metal gearbox has a CNC motor mount in aerospace aluminium that dissipates motor heat effectively, and the internal gears are a mix of machined and MIM-injected gears for high strength, low noise and wear resistance. The whole vehicle runs on ABEC3 precision bearings for quiet, smooth operation and longer service intervals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe suspension links are made from 7 mm 304 stainless steel, which is hard-wearing and rust-free and also lowers the centre of gravity. The suspension ball joints are upgraded to larger, reinforced ball joints for better durability and impact resistance. The large 21 mm CNC shock absorbers have vacuum-coated shafts and are filled with 350CST shock oil for improved damping and flexible suspension. The model has reinforced main frame rails for heavy loads and robust front and rear portal axles in imported, weather-resistant nylon that meets the demands of driving in low temperatures. The second-generation rear balance link system gives better control of the centre of gravity when rolling at high speed without compromising shock performance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe EMO XL comes with high-performance AT tyres – the same as used on the EMO X3 – with a tailored tread for maximum traction. As standard, the model has powerful light groups with a grille warning light and several modes controlled from the transmitter. The whole vehicle runs on a 7.4V high-voltage circuit with full-scale servo-controlled gear shifting and differential lock control, a customised Hobbywing 4S 880 ESC and a linear, powerful 560 brushed motor. Future upgrades to advanced servos and transmitters need no worries about power supply or differential settings.
