As Julie Andrews said in The Sound of Music, once you have learned these notes you can sing a million songs.

Ugears has come up with a kit where you can create your own celesta - the celesta is played a bit like a piano, but of course with differences, including a bell-like sound when you strike the notes.

It is the second DIY instrument kit from Ugears - and if you are musical, it may also be worth checking out the Hurdy Gurdy.

There are two ways to play the instrument: you can use the keys to strike the metal plates, which produce musical notes over an octave range, from C to C, or you can "pre-programme" the instrument by composing a tune on the player's piano drum and then play it by turning the handle!

The celesta is the perfect gift for music lovers and for nimble fingers that cannot get enough challenges. And of course you are also allowed to treat yourself ;)

Like all other Ugears models, you need neither glue nor special tools to build your own musical instrument - and everything you need is in the pack, including the assembly manual. So just open the box and immerse yourself in the project.
