Defective item – important to know
If an item sent in turns out not to be a valid complaint, a small service fee of DKK 150 (half an hour's work) will be charged, plus any shipping and other costs.
Why? We receive many cases caused by incorrect use or simple settings – without any defects.
Please note: The warranty does not cover parts that have been broken or damaged during use.
Checklist before sending in
- Charge/replace the battery, and make sure the model is switched on.
- Check for loose wires and mechanical blockages (e.g. stones in the gears/mechanics).
- Read the set-up and troubleshooting sections in the product's manual.
- Consider searching online for a video guide for your model.
Special notes on batteries
LiPo batteries
- Models left switched on discharge LiPo batteries – not covered as a complaint.
- LiPo below permitted voltages – not covered as a complaint.
- LiPo without regular charging/checking or without correct storage mode – not covered as a complaint.
NiMH batteries
- Must be used regularly – long breaks can damage the cells.
- A NiMH battery that has been unused for 6–12 months is normally not a valid complaint.
- Short run time? Fully charge and fully discharge up to 5 times to "wake up" the battery.
Special notes on nitro-powered remote-controlled cars
Always follow the manufacturer's manual for running-in and adjustment (carburettor etc.). Most problems are caused by:
- Wrong/old fuel – not a valid complaint.
- Incorrectly adjusted low-end/high-end needles – not a valid complaint.
- A defective glow plug during running-in is normal – not a valid complaint.
Nitro cars sent in with incorrect adjustment are charged according to the service fee. Please check everything before sending in.
