Kyosho FMS FCX18 Toyota LC80 1/18 Scaler RTR

FCX18 is a new series from FMS, and the Toyota LC80 is the flagship debut model in the series. The model is designed to become the king of small-scale crawling and is a tribute to the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series, which since its launch in 1990 has been known for its toughness, reliability and off-road ability. With the FCX18 LC80, FMS carries this legacy forward in scale form, with a focus on toughness, reliability and a spirit of adventure.

The car combines a realistic design with a Toyota-approved LC80 body featuring details such as the grille, spotlights, snorkel, bonnet and logo — all closely modelled on the real car. Front and rear portal axles increase ground clearance and improve off-road ability, while metal hydraulic shock absorbers provide a stable ride that mimics the handling of a real car. The maximum climbing angle is 42 degrees.

The tyres have a softer rubber compound, which increases softness by 35% and gives 30% more grip. The whole vehicle has 24 metal ball bearings, which reduce driving noise and friction and improve power transfer. The car comes with a 900 mAh battery, giving around 2.5 times the battery capacity of comparable scale models — enough for an hour of continuous driving.

The LC80 also offers rich lighting effects with high beams, indicators, rear lights, brake lights and roof spotlights for a realistic driving experience at night. The car can be used anywhere — in swamps, on lawns, muddy tracks and indoor obstacle courses — and comes with a Flysky knob-type remote control that gives sensitive and precise control.
