CROSSRC EMO XX2 1/5 Crawling Kit (ARTR)

The CROSSRC EMO XX2 is a hardcore 1/5 scale off-road pickup climbing car and part of the popular "Big Dinosaur" series. The model has a modern, sharp off-road pickup design, complete with a multifunctional light system and a full factory-fitted modification package, so the car is delivered in top condition as an ARTR (Almost Ready To Run).

The chassis is built around a low centre of gravity layout for maximum stability, even when the car is pushed up steep slopes. The load-bearing chassis is made from 2.5 mm thick steel plate, formed by 100-tonne stamping, while the axles, beams and links are made from specially formulated nylon for a good balance between strength and flexibility. The suspension is reinforced at the connection points to withstand both impacts and wear. Power is transferred via a dual power transmission system with metal gears for shift and output, designed to pull heavy loads. The steering uses a heavy-duty reverse-mounted axle combination with a maximum Ackermann angle of 5 degrees and inward and backward angles of up to 8 degrees, giving stable and precise handling at high speed. The car also features CROSSRC’s first rear balanced link for even more precise control.

The shock absorbers are 26 mm CNC-machined aluminium units with adjustable preload and a maximum travel of 40 mm. The front and rear differential locks and the gearbox shifting are operated by the servo’s full travel with intelligent protection, so the servo does not burn out from an incorrect working stroke. Under the wheels sit ROCK BREAKER "Crack Rock Roar" MT tyres with strong vertical lugs that give good grip on any surface.
