CROSSRC EMO XX2 1/5 Crawler Kit – Brushed 775

The EMO XX2 is the latest addition to CROSSRC’s big dinosaur series: a hardcore 1/5 scale off-road pickup truck built for the most demanding climbing. The modern pickup shape with sharp lines and a striking multifunctional light system gives the car a dominant, territorial look, and it comes from the factory fitted with a full modification package.

The chassis is designed with a low centre of gravity for maximum stability on steep climbs, and the 100-tonne stamped steel beams are thickened to 2.5 mm to withstand hard impacts. The axles, beams and connecting parts are made from specially formulated nylon, giving a well-balanced combination of strength and flexibility in the chassis.

The car uses dual power transmission with all-metal gears for the gear ratio and output, and the reinforced rear axle combination gives an Ackermann angle of up to 5 degrees and a maximum inward/outward tilt of 8 degrees for more stable and precise steering at high speed. The upward-angled input shaft and specially placed suspension points give smooth power transfer with minimal axle effect. The model also features CROSSRC’s first balanced rear link for even more precise control.

The 26 mm shock absorbers are CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium alloy with adjustable preload and a maximum travel of 40 mm. The differentials and gearbox shifting are controlled by the servos’ full travel, giving intelligent protection against overloading the servos. Finally, the car rolls on ROCK BREAKER "Crack Rock Roar" MT tyres with strong vertical lugs that give solid grip on any rock face.
