Cross RC EMO X3 is built on the well-known and powerful EMO X chassis but adds a number of significant upgrades that make this 1:8 multi-purpose 4x4 model something special. The model combines trailer-rescue functions with high-performance climbing ability, so it works both as a simulated recovery vehicle and as a pure crawler for the toughest challenges.

Among the upgrades is a heavily reinforced frame rail design (XL version) with a 200% larger cross-section and much greater strength than the standard rail, making the model ready for high power and heavy recovery tasks. An M4 stainless steel counterweight bar and reinforced ball ends throughout the vehicle are also fitted, so it can handle the extra load of recovery operations and upgraded electronics.

The rear-mounted recovery hook can be extended and retracted directly from the transmitter, and there are reserved channels for fitting a standard dual-motor winch, so the boom can be raised, lowered and tilted by remote control. EMO X3 comes with the newly developed VELOCIRAPTOR high-performance AT tyres, tailored for hard surfaces, and a powerful light set with a centred warning light and several lighting modes controlled from the transmitter.

The vehicle has a solid mast-style roll cage, and the rear is covered by a metal anti-slip plate. Remove the recovery hook module and EMO X3 instantly becomes a pure, professional climbing vehicle ready to push the limits. The model builds on the well-known EMO features: a large 65-degree approach angle, a transmission geometry with minimal visible axle effect, full-servo gear shifting and differential lock mechanism, the original rear balance linkage for stable driving even at high speed or when drifting, and a hidden quick-release body lock system. The whole car uses high-strength alloy gears made by the PM process, precision-cut gears and nylon gear combinations for wear resistance and quiet running, supported by ABEC3-grade ball bearings throughout.
