The Kyosho Fazer D2 is a brand-new performance-based drift platform with newly developed electronics that sets a new standard for radio-controlled drifting. As a Readyset, the model is ready for action straight out of the box – just put a charged battery in the car and batteries in the transmitter, and you are ready to drive.

The rear-wheel-drive (RWD) chassis is specially designed for drifting and glides naturally across the surface with heavy counter-steering, just like a real drift car. Compared with the standard Fazer, the D2 has a different weight distribution and suspension geometry as well as a receiver with a built-in gyro that automatically controls counter-steering for optimal body slide. The gyro controls both steering and throttle, which makes it possible even for beginners to drift like a professional.

The chassis is equipped with modern drift components such as long suspension arms and a high-mounted motor, which make the car easy to handle and adjust. Even though it comes as a Readyset, parts can still be replaced and upgraded for fine-tuning, just like a pure competition car. The model features Kyosho's detailed "Ultra Scale Body", which reproduces the car's bodywork with lights, bumpers and mirrors for a realistic look, as well as a variable wheelbase that allows different body types to be fitted.

The GT86 body is the European version of Toyota's '86' sports car from 2012, which carries on the name of the popular AE86 from the 1980s. This model is modified with a carbon bonnet look and rear spoiler as well as other aerodynamic details. The wheels are a faithful replica of the popular RAYS TE37V rims. The rear drive unit uses a spool axle without a differential to support smooth drifting, and the car is prepared for fitting the separately sold 97054 LED light set.
