Tamiya Buggy Champ (2009) 1/10 electric RC buggy, kit

The champ is back! The Buggy Champ started the big buggy wave when it arrived in 1979, and now it has been re-released in a new and improved version. It keeps the basic layout of the original, but has modern improvements and many refined parts from brand-new metal moulds.

The chassis is a 2 mm FRP plate with aluminium reinforcement for strength and flexibility. The four-wheel suspension has double trailing arms at the front and a swing axle at the rear, die-cast suspension arms and oil dampers. A durable clear plastic box protects the electronics and battery, and full ball bearings reduce friction losses. The body is moulded in white polystyrene and can be painted with model paint.
