The EMO XXL Thunder Dragon is the latest addition to Cross RC’s "Dinosaur Series" – a massive 1/6 6x6 crawler built to crush everything in its path. With an overall length of 1.06 metres and a robust steel and nylon construction, this model is one of the largest series-production RTR crawlers on the market. The chassis is built around a steel frame formed by hundred-tonne stamping, combined with axles and connecting parts in specially formulated nylon, giving an optimal balance between strength and flexibility.

The suspension consists of a three-link setup with a lateral link at the front and a four-link setup with a balance bar at the rear, with link diameters up to 10mm for maximum robustness. The 26mm CNC-machined aluminium shock absorbers have adjustable preload and up to 40mm of travel, ensuring good support and movement even in the most extreme conditions. The third axle uses a bridge-type propshaft design that gives extreme resistance to heavy loads.

This Brushed RTR version is fitted with two powerful 775 motors that drive the car via dual Hobbywing 880 ESCs. Steering is handled by a powerful 70KG high-voltage servo, while three 25KG high-voltage servos control the differential locks and gear shifting. The car comes complete with a DumboRC X6 6-channel 2.4GHz radio and a synchronised LED light system with strobe function. The heavy-duty PC plastic body is mounted on a 2mm formed steel frame and secured with a four-point quick-release system that makes it easy to remove.

With its large 693mm x 325mm rear cargo area, the Thunder Dragon can carry other models, including long-wheelbase 1/8 crawlers. The car rolls on the newly developed ROCK BREAKER "Rock Roar" tyres mounted on nylon clamp wheels, ready to tackle the most challenging terrain.
