The Cross RC SC6 is a tribute to the legendary Steyr 91 - the truck that set new standards for power, durability and reliability in the Chinese truck industry in the 1980s and became an iconic symbol for a whole generation. With the SC6 1/12, the classic is reinvented as a full-metal-chassis scale off-road truck that combines the original's hardcore soul with a modern scale kit.

The chassis follows real truck logic with a full-metal gearbox, transfer case and axles that recreate the real power distribution with solid, reliable torque delivery. The adjustable leaf spring suspension lets you set the preload, so you can freely switch between off-road ability and on-road stability. The adaptive rocker-arm rear axle automatically balances wheel pressure on complex terrain and recreates the floating driving dynamics you know from the real truck.

The truck's front is moulded in ABS with a simple, robust structure that is easy to paint and two-tone. With opening doors and a fully equipped interior – including seats, dashboard and steering wheel in the cab – you get an immersive driving experience. The multi-purpose container supports customisation and conversion, so the model can be used for everything from simulated transport work to off-road exploration.

The SC6 is made for the ultimate RC enthusiast and is as much a piece of mechanical design as a model. The metal transmission is built for hard driving without wear worries, the realistic handling with two-sided suspension copes with rough terrain, and the fully movable structure lets you tilt the cab forward, open the doors and load/unload the container – offering many different ways to play with and build on the model.
