DERBEE XCub STOL 1500mm PNP Kit

The XCub from DERBEE is a lifelike powered RC plane with a wingspan of 150 cm. The model stands out with excellent STOL characteristics (Short Take-Off and Landing), and thanks to its large rubber tyres it can take off and land on almost any kind of terrain. A special highlight is the pre-installed tow hook, which makes the plane suitable for a variety of flying.

The XCub comes almost ready to fly straight out of the box and can be assembled in a few simple steps. The motor, controller and no fewer than seven servos for flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevator and tow hook are already installed. You just need a suitable 3S or 4S LiPo battery and a receiver, and the XCub is ready for take-off.

Thanks to large flaps and sturdy landing gear, the XCub is perfect for taking off and landing on even very small and short strips. The large balloon tyres let you take off and land smoothly even on uneven ground. The plane is powered by a strong 900KV brushless outrunner motor combined with a 40A controller (ESC), which together with a 3S or 4S LiPo battery gives plenty of power for spectacular manoeuvres.

The ready-built and painted model is made of robust EPO hard foam, which is very durable, and minor damage can be repaired quickly and easily with ordinary superglue. The landing gear is made of metal for extra strength and durability.
