High-performance Mini-Z racer – ready straight out of the box

The Kyosho Mini-Z MR-04 RWD is the latest generation of the Mini-Z series and now sets the standard for rear-wheel-drive Mini-Z models. The model comes as a complete Readyset, with chassis, body and radio system all assembled at the factory.

The new MR-04 platform offers a lower centre of gravity, improved steering and much more predictable handling than the MR-03. The result is higher speed, better cornering stability and easier control – ideal for beginners and experienced Mini-Z drivers alike.

Authentic Mazda Daytona history

The body depicts the Mazda Savanna RX-7 from the 1979 Daytona 24 Hours. After the GTU class win for No.7, the No.77 car secured Mazda's impressive 1-2 debut. The distinctive livery with red stripes recreates the original's iconic look in display quality.

MR-04 chassis – technical improvements

• Lower centre of gravity than the MR-03 for better stability
• New steering with reduced scrub radius for more precise steering
• New front knuckles with integrated kingpins
• Improved camber and caster geometry
• Gear differential for smooth power delivery in corners
• Rear suspension with coil spring damper (can be upgraded to an oil damper)
• Full ball bearing set-up for low friction

Electronics and control

The model comes with the Kyosho Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz pistol-grip radio and a 130-class brushed motor. The system gives stable, reliable control, and the chassis is prepared for fitting a gyro unit (optional extra), with sensitivity adjusted directly on the car.
