Description
Description
Slow-Cure 30 min Epoxy 255 g – strong, waterproof 2-part epoxy
Slow-Cure 30 min Epoxy is a strong 2-part epoxy adhesive for hobby, modelling and repair work where high strength and good resistance to both heat and water are required. The longer working time makes the adhesive particularly well suited to jobs where the parts need to be positioned precisely before the epoxy starts to cure.
The epoxy consists of equal parts resin and hardener, which react chemically to form a strong bond. The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals and bonds to wood, glass, metal, fibreglass, hard plastics and foam, among other materials. Its good penetration into porous materials also makes it well suited to reinforcing existing joints and making glue fillets.
The epoxy can be mixed with microballoons or other fillers to obtain a filler-like consistency. Surfaces should be clean before gluing, and smooth, non-porous materials should be sanded to improve adhesion.
