Tamiya is delighted to announce the appearance of the muscular Ford Mustang GT4 in the long-running 1/24 Sports Car Series! The actual car is a race-ready powerhouse featuring honed aerodynamic form with front spoiler, rear wing and diffuser, high performance brakes, lightweight carbon fiber vented engine hood, roof, door panels and more, plus a big 5.2-liter V8 engine in the front. This model recreates the 2019 spec car.

Tame the Mustang
Announced to great acclaim at the 2016 SEMA show, the Ford Mustang GT4 features carbon fiber doors, roof, engine hood and more, a rear wing and diffuser contributing to advanced aerodynamics, and a high-performance 580hp, 5.2-liter V8 engine with 6-speed sequential transmission. Designed and engineered jointly by Ford Performance and Multimatic Motorsports, it is active in races across the globe, taking on rivals from other major manufacturers in the competitive GT4 class.

About the Model
• This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 203mm, width: 81mm, height: 60mm.
• The powerful form of the 2019 spec Mustang GT4 is captured in style, thanks to the extensive time spent with a real car by our designers.
• Engine hood air intake designs are captured in style, contributing to the overall muscular look of the car.
• The underside features depictions of the complex suspension and visible engine sections.
• A realistic interior has renderings of the dedicated steering wheel, console panel, roll cage and racing seat.
• Separate parts for lights help streamline the painting process.
• Comes with decals to recreate either a gun metal color no.17 car, or a white no.18 car. Masking stickers are also included.
• Includes metal-plated depictions of side and rear view mirror surfaces.
