The Jaguar XJ220 became famous for its top-speed record among production cars, reaching 350 km/h, held from 1992 to 1994. The origins of the project are also quite interesting. It began with the ideas and creativity of Jaguar employees working on innovative and original projects that were not included in commercial requirements. From this initiative, the Jaguar XJ220 was born, with the first production car built in 1991. Light and extremely powerful, it delivered performance worthy of a true "top sports car" and had an aerodynamic design with very modern lines for its time. A version was also developed for motorsport and it took part in several GT races, including the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, driven by well-known drivers of the time.
