Description

The M4 Sherman medium tank was the primary tank used by the US during the Second World War. It was produced in significant numbers and formed the backbone of American armoured forces at the time. It was produced in several variants and versions. Production of the M4A3E8 versions began in late 1944. The M4A3E8, which took on the nickname "Easy Eight", incorporated numerous technical improvements that enhanced the Sherman's operational effectiveness. The 76 mm M1 high-velocity gun was complemented by a new Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension (HVSS) system, which ensured a smoother ride and guaranteed a higher speed. The "Easy Eight" took part in the final stages of the Second World War and was actively involved in the Korean War.

The finished model measures 14 cm.
