"For many years, the Volkswagen Beetle was the car where it all began. Countless young people learned to drive in it.

Countless people drove it as the first car of their lives. Over the years, ongoing improvements were made to the car to keep the Beetle competitive. By 1968, the Beetle had reached a standard that always kept it ahead of the competition. The earlier 1131cc engine became a 44 hp 1500cc engine. Front disc brakes and a new semi-trailing-arm rear axle kept its temperament in check. The headlights were now vertical, and it was possible to fill the tank through a side flap."; Model kit 1:24, 125 individual parts. Length of finished model = 171 mm.
