Compared with a Hitec HS-81, it is an exact replacement in size and configuration. It can also use the HS-81 servo horns as the splines are the same.

Perfect replacement....
I've been using the HXT900 servo's for just about all my planes,they are just great. But for larger aircraft ,a servo with more torgue was needed. Price is always a concern and the HD-1160A fits the bill to a "T" I just bought 12 of these and have them installed in my Ultrafly Edge 540, Extra 330 and Yak 54. With a measured torgue between 32-35 Oz they are perfect. Centering is also good.

Exclente servos....
Cost benefit is great. No concerns at all. I´m using in 2 meter class glider with 1Kg.No problem using with 4.8V but I´ll try using 6.0V in next plane

Power HD Servo 16g/2,7kg/,12se....
It's seems to be a fine servo for it's size. I have only tried it with 4,8V batt.
Since this servo is made for 6V, it could be the reason why I had a little noise from the servo after going back to center pos. for a few sec.

Hitec hs 81 servo exactly....
This servo is a hitec hs 81 servo exactly.I have a bunch of spare sets of metal gears for the hitec hs81MG and I have replaced 4 sets of these stock nylon gears with the Hitec metal gears sets and they fit perfectly. The only mod. is the main horn.The Turnigy potentiometer rod is for the plastic gear version so it does not have the notch on the end for metal horn but easy fix, gear mesh is identical! servo tester shows they are same performance

Great little servos....
great little servos strong fast and center well, why would anyone buy Hitec when you can have these at this price

Bought 15 of these....
Now I have 4 of them in a 1.5 kg/120 cm scratchbuilt 3D foamy. Centering may not be 100% perfect, but they are strong & do the job & more for noob(yes, I am @ 3D)hovering, quick rolls & harriers etc. Not surprisingly, elevator & rudder servos stripped when I crashed in to a tree @ 40-50 km/h. Better than expected, & I'll buy more.

I've used the same 2 servo's in my parkjet no and over 100 flight, still working really well. strong and durable.
