Tamiya engraving blade holder

A light, ergonomic holder made for Tamiya's fine engraving blades (item no. 74135-38), but it also fits other blades with a 2 mm shank. It is made of light, durable aluminium with a knurled grip, so it sits securely in your hand, and the chuck is made of nickel-plated brass.

The slim shape means you hold it like a ballpoint pen. The blade is inserted and removed simply by gently squeezing the chuck and turning the shaft, and the included cap protects the blade and also stops the holder from rolling away. Clever!
