Built in 1979 at BV Scheepswerft & Machinefabriek " De Merwede" in Hardinxveld, Holland. Length 28.40 m, beam 8.85 m, draught 3.85 m. Driven by 2 "Stork Werkspoor" diesel engines, which at 1000 rpm produce 1800 hp. Speed 12 knots and a range of 2,250 miles. A special detail of this ship is the propellers, fitted with variable-pitch blades and running in Kort nozzles, together with the two flap rudders that ensure the ship's good manoeuvrability.
