High speed, extreme control – discover the new Traxxas Jato 4X4 VXL

With a top speed of over 96 km/h, an extremely powerful 4S brushless system and an ultra-low centre of gravity, the Jato 4X4 VXL is built for serious RC enthusiasts. Fitted with Traxxas' strongest Extreme Heavy Duty parts and a clipless body, this buggy delivers outstanding performance both on the track and off-road.

Extreme 4S power

The Jato 4X4 uses the same powerful Velineon® 540XL motor as the Maxx® monster truck – the largest motor Traxxas has ever used in a buggy. Combined with the new VXL-4s™ ESC and 4S LiPo batteries, you get explosive acceleration and outstanding speed.

Precise track driving

With a low centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution, the Jato 4X4 VXL takes corners with surgical precision. Aluminium GTR shock absorbers and super-soft Response Pro tyres keep constant contact with the ground. Add anti-roll bars (optional) for even sharper cornering.

Extreme durability

With factory-fitted Extreme Heavy Duty driveline and suspension components, the Jato is built to handle even the toughest conditions. A reinforced chassis structure and Maxx-Duty® driveshafts turn power into performance – without compromise.

Smart, aerodynamic body

The clipless body reduces drag and eliminates the "parachute effect", while the high-downforce wing keeps the buggy planted. Quick and secure access to the battery makes it easy to keep you running.
