Traxxas Rustler 2WD 1/10 RTR Blue-X – with battery and USB-C charger

The Rustler is the stadium truck that has taught generations to drive RC — and here you get it in the tough HD version with heavy-duty suspension fitted at the factory. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs and steering blocks are reinforced with more material and a stronger design, so they can take the landings that would normally send plastic parts to the bin. It sits low and wide, which gives calm and stability at speed — and it is fast! With the included 7-cell battery it runs at approx. 56 km/h. For corners, jumps and gravel roads that is plenty to put a smile on the faces of young and old.

Is it ready to run out of the box? YES! It is a Ready-to-Race package with an 8.4 volt 3000 mAh Traxxas Power Cell NiMH battery and a USB-C charger of approx. 45 watts with iD technology that charges at a fast 4 A. Power comes from a Titan 550 motor with a built-in cooling fan, controlled by an XL-5 speed controller with three driving profiles and EZ-Set — one press of the button and it is set up. So the youngest can start carefully, while Dad turns it up when it is his turn. Clever!

The body is clipless: no body clips to lose in the grass, but a hidden latch system with heavy-duty latches that holds the body firmly and gives you access to the chassis in seconds. Large, reinforced panels also resist pull-through damage, so the car looks good for longer. We at Hobbyviking find it hard to point to a better start in 1/10 — even for someone who has already done a bit of driving.
