Traxxas Stampede 4x4 Brushless VX3 3S RTR – 40th Edition monster truck 1/10

The king of 1/10 monster trucks now has brushless power! Here the Stampede 4x4 comes as a 40th Edition with the new Velineon 3s power system, and you feel it from the first touch of the throttle: 3s LiPo power turns into brutal acceleration and over 80 km/h – without touching the gearing. With a 2s LiPo battery it does approx. 56 km/h. Want to do burnouts on all four wheels? Go right ahead. The 4WD traction stops for nothing, and the tall monster truck style gives it the right towering look. We at Hobbyviking are pretty excited!

At its heart are the fan-cooled VX3 speed controller and the V3200 motor – speed, power and efficiency in one package, and with Traxxas EZ-Set you program the controller with a single button press. The suspension is also new: composite long-travel GTR shocks that hold over 70 % more oil than the regular Ultra Shocks. X-ring seals keep the oil in and the dirt out, you adjust spring preload and ride height on the threaded collar, and the spring retainers are screwed in place so they stay where they belong. Is it built to take a beating? YES! The Extreme Heavy-Duty kit is factory-installed with a stronger driveline, HD suspension arms and steel hub carriers – all made for exactly this kind of 3s brushless power.

Underneath are the new Talon MXT tyres, glued to monster truck wheels with removable centre hubs. The angled tread pattern bites forward on loose surfaces, and the open block design sheds mud and dirt instead of collecting it. The result: massive grip and stability at high speed. A towering monster with 3s power, wheels that bite and suspension that handles the landings – that is smart!
