Does your X-Maxx sometimes end up on its back? Of course it does — it is an X-Maxx! This skid plate sits on top of the body and takes the hit when the car rolls over, so it is the plate and not your roof that scrapes across the tarmac. And yes, it is still noisy, but the body survives.

Traxxas makes it from their toughest composite material — the same as in the heavy-duty suspension arms. It is built with flex, so it bends instead of breaking, and that also applies when it is cold outside. Green is one of six colours, so you can match the rest of the car or make it easy to spot in the grass. Smart!

Four 3x15 mm CS screws are included. Mounting requires #7713X, so remember that before you start.
