Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VX3 Brushless Stadium Truck

The Rustler 4X4 Brushless is the new generation of Traxxas' stadium truck, and it comes with something we at Hobbyviking are pretty excited about: a new Velineon 3s brushless power system. The powerful V3200 motor and the fan-cooled VX3 speed control give you approx. 80 km/h straight out of the box – without touching the gearing. On 2s LiPo it does approx. 56 km/h. And 4-wheel burnouts? Of course. Four wheels spinning at once is something you have to try! You handle programming with Traxxas EZ-Set – one button, job done.

The chassis has new GTR shocks that hold 70 % more oil than the regular Ultra Shocks. That means a softer, calmer ride over bumpy terrain, and the X-ring seals keep the oil in and the dirt out. You adjust spring preload and ride height on a threaded collar, and the spring retainers are screwed in place so they do not fall off in the middle of a jump. The body sits on a new clipless system with four latches – one above each wheel. Press, click, and the body is off. No more hunting for body clips in the grass! The body itself is aerodynamic, with internal structure and reinforcements that protect against pull-through on hard landings.

At each corner are new Sledgehammer ST tyres with an open block pattern that bites into mud and loose surfaces, mounted on large 2.8" black RXT 6-spoke wheels. With four driven wheels and a TQi Sport transmitter with TSM stability, this is a truck that is quick to learn to drive – but hard to put down.
