Traxxas Rustler 4X4 Brushless VXL 3S RTR – stadium truck

The new-generation Rustler 4X4 is the stadium truck for you if you want speed right away. The Velineon 3S brushless system with V3200 motor and the fan-cooled VX3 ESC delivers approx. 80 km/h straight out of the box — without changing gears or fiddling with anything. Is there room for four-wheel burnouts? YES! And if you want to program the ESC, you do it with one press via Traxxas EZ-Set. That is smart!

Here at Hobbyviking we are pretty excited about the new GTR shocks. They are made of composite, hold over 70 % more oil than standard Ultra Shocks and have X-ring seals that keep the oil in and the dirt out, so the suspension works smoothly in both directions. You adjust ride height and spring preload on the threaded collar, and the spring retainers are locked with a screw so they stay where they belong. Combined with the long suspension travel, this gives an ultra-smooth ride — you feel it immediately when you race over uneven terrain.

The body is fixed without clips: four latches, one above each wheel, and it is off. It is slim and aerodynamic on the outside, but with a strong internal structure and reinforcements that can take a beating. Underneath, new Sledgehammer ST tyres with an open-block pattern roll on 2.8" black RXT 6-spoke wheels — the pattern throws off mud and dirt, so the grip is there even when the surface is loose.
