Everything about the Traxxas XO-1 is extreme. Built in giant 1/7 scale, it is ready to handle the ferocious power of the brushless Big Block motor, and nothing is missing from the equipment list: for example four-wheel drive with Cush Drive for maximum acceleration, Castle Mamba Monster Extreme speed control, a Heavy Duty driveline, a stiff 3mm aluminium chassis, a waterproof steering servo and a design optimised to give exactly the right amount of downforce.

It is all kept in check by Traxxas Stability Management, which minimises skids and loss of control. And our own test drive confirms it. Even though 0-100 km/h takes about 2.3 seconds, it is not as hard as you might think to keep the car on course, both under fierce acceleration and equally fierce braking.

Of course the fun does not stop there – the new TQi transmitter can connect automatically via Bluetooth to your smartphone, where the Traxxas Link app gives you real-time information such as speed, RPM and temperature, so you always stay in touch with your RC car. You can also fine-tune how your transmitter responds, so you can tailor the control exactly to your driving style.

The car is RTR – assembled and ready for seriously fast racing.
In addition, you will need 2 batteries, e.g. 11.1V 3-cell LiPo (11.1V recommended for maximum speed), a charger and 4 AA batteries for the transmitter.
