Your X-Maxx is not built to be driven gently. So the gears in the rear differential should not be just for show either. This pinion gear with 11 teeth is made of heavy duty steel – exactly the material you want where the power from the motor has to go down to the rear wheels, again and again.
Do you need anything besides the gear itself? YES, one thing: it belongs with the 35-tooth ring gear (#7792), so the two have to work together in the differential. It is a genuine Traxxas part, so it fits as it should – no surprises once you have taken the rear end apart!
