The officially licensed TIE Fighter kit from UGEARS recreates the Empire's feared Twin Ion Engine fighter with a ball cockpit and hexagonal wings in coloured plywood. The set includes both the fighter and a stand shaped like the surface of the Death Star – a hidden motor in the stand gives realistic flight manoeuvres, and the ship is held in place by a magnet. Assembled without glue or tools.

The stand is compatible with the UGEARS X-Wing Starfighter (sold separately) – together they form one large Death Star landscape.
