M-ATV MRAP Vehicle - A Powerful Solution for Challenging Terrain
The M-ATV was specially developed for the deployment of American troops in Afghanistan. This MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle class combines superior mine resistance with off-road capability, making it ideal for poor roads and difficult terrain. Weighing approx. 11 tonnes, the M-ATV has room for four soldiers plus a machine gunner. Since July 2009, around 10,000 M-ATVs have been delivered, which underlines its reliability and the demand for it in military operations.
