Description

Based on the reliable and robust Mercedes-Benz MB 2238 6x4 heavy truck, several configurations and special versions were developed. By combining the engine's power with the solid structural reliability of the chassis and suspension, even over long distances, many units were built for recovering broken-down or accident-damaged heavy vehicles. The equipment included a rear-mounted crane capable of lifting the vehicles to be recovered, as well as several extra compartments for storing equipment and tools useful for repairs or towing. The MB 2238's efficient gearbox and correct weight distribution ensured a good level of safety, even when towing the heaviest vehicles at full load.


The finished model measures: 36.7 cm.
