Tamiya 1/35 German Sd.Kfz. 250/3 Greif

Germany used a range of half-track vehicles during the Second World War, and the Sd.Kfz. 250 series was one of the most widespread. From transport to communications and ammunition supply, they were truly versatile. The 250/3 in particular is well known because Rommel used it as a command vehicle during the fighting in North Africa. He called it Greif (griffin), a fitting name for the vehicle that flew him around the desert to thwart the Allies' plans.

The 1/35 kit reproduces the vehicle in style, from the frame antenna to the complex armour panels. The interior has realistic details such as radio equipment, the Maybach straight-six at the front is nicely reproduced, and single-link tracks give an authentic finish.
