Italeri 1:48 F-16A Fighting Falcon – Model Kit

The F-16 Fighting Falcon, produced by General Dynamics from the late seventies, is an icon in the history of military aviation. It was originally developed as a modern single-seat daytime air superiority fighter, but evolved into an all-weather multirole aircraft with outstanding operational flexibility.

The F-16 is recognised by its frameless bubble canopy, which gives the pilot excellent visibility, and it introduced innovations such as a side-mounted control stick, fly-by-wire and modern avionics. It is armed with a 20 mm M61 Vulcan cannon and can carry a wide range of missiles and bombs. Italeri reproduces it in 1:48 scale.
