The ARRMA TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 is a tough 1/8 scale off-road buggy built for fast, hard driving on dirt, gravel and short grass, among other surfaces. Its strong construction, low centre of gravity and wide suspension make it well suited to bigger jumps, rough terrain and everyday bashing.

The model comes fully assembled with water-resistant Spektrum electronics, 4WD, oil-filled shock absorbers and a powerful MEGA 665 brushed motor. The transmission is already prepared for 3S brushless, so you can later upgrade the model to a higher-performance brushless system.

MEGA 665 brushed motor

The 14-turn MEGA 665 High Speed brushed motor is 11 % larger than the 550 motor in the previous generation. The motor is fitted with an aluminium heatsink and a 35 mm cooling fan, which help keep temperatures down during hard driving.

Brushless-ready transmission

The transmission is designed for an easy upgrade to a 3S brushless system. A maintenance-free overload coupling acts as a torque limiter and protects the transmission from excessive torque.

Adjustable suspension

The independent suspension and oil-filled coilover shock absorbers soak up bumps and jumps. The ride height is adjustable, so you can increase ground clearance when driving on rougher terrain.

TYPHON body

The aggressive buggy body comes pre-decorated from the factory and is held in place by a hidden clipless system, giving a clean look with no visible body clips. The high-downforce rear wing adds to the model's race-inspired design.

dBoots 2-HO tyres

The vented dBoots 2-HO tyres are designed for a range of surfaces and come with foam inserts on tough nylon wheels. The vent holes help push water and dirt out of the tyres and improve how the tyres perform while driving.

Spektrum electronics

The model comes with a water-resistant Spektrum SLT 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver system and an S661 digital metal-gear servo. The S661 servo delivers up to 125 oz-in of torque at 6V for precise and powerful steering.

The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter has a throttle limiter that can restrict maximum throttle to 50 % or 75 %. This lets you start with lower performance and increase to full power later.
