The Star Plug design makes the connectors easy to grip and separate, while the connection stays secure during use. The housing is made of a strong heat- and impact-resistant polymer, while the gold-plated copper contacts ensure good electrical conductivity. The included back cap has a central insulator that helps prevent short circuits between the terminals.
