Airbrush Color Chrome 60ml

Hobbynox Airbrush Color Chrome 60 ml

Chrome airbrush paint for models and RC bodies

Hobbynox Airbrush Color Chrome is a water-based, flexible airbrush paint that can be used on polycarbonate (Lexan®), plastic, wood, metal, ceramics, glass and fabric, among other materials. The paint is based on lightfast pigments and durable binders and is developed to resist cracking, flaking and most stresses during use.

Chrome effect

The chrome colour can be used on its own as a fast-drying silver or combined with a solid black background to achieve a striking satin-chrome effect. It can also be layered over transparent colours to create a deep metallic finish.

Suitable for

• Polycarbonate RC bodies
• Model building
• Airbrush designs
• Fishing lures
• Helmets
• Plastic, wood, metal, ceramics and glass

Application

• Works best with an airbrush with a 0.5 mm nozzle
• Recommended working pressure: 2.8–3.5 bar
• Can be thinned with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner
• With smaller nozzles, the working pressure can be reduced
• Curing is improved by mild heat and air circulation

Finishing

The paint can be combined with Hobbynox Intercoat-Clear 2-in-1 Cover Coat for better adhesion and protection. Other compatible clear coats can also be used, but they should be tested on a small area first.

What you need

• Airbrush with a suitable nozzle
• Compressor
• Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner if thinning is needed
• Clear coat for extra protection, if desired
