Airbrush Color Neon Orange 60ml

Hobbynox Airbrush Color Neon Orange 60 ml

Intense neon orange airbrush paint

Hobbynox Airbrush Color Neon Orange is a water-based, flexible airbrush paint with a strong, vivid neon orange colour. It is suitable for polycarbonate (Lexan®) RC bodies as well as a wide range of other surfaces such as plastic, wood, metal, fabric, ceramics and glass.

Neon effect

Neon Orange is a transparent colour and should be applied over a solid white base to achieve the strongest neon effect. The neon colours are not UV-stable and may therefore fade over time with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

Suitable for

• Polycarbonate RC bodies
• Model building
• Fishing lures
• Helmets
• Custom airbrush paint jobs
• Plastic, wood, metal, fabric, ceramics and glass

Properties

• Very strong, vivid neon orange colour
• Transparent – a white base is recommended for maximum effect
• Water-based and non-toxic
• Flexible finish that resists cracking and flaking
• Can replace Faskolor Fasfluo Orange 3140103

Application

• Recommended airbrush nozzle: 0.5 mm
• Recommended working pressure: 2.8–3.5 bar
• With smaller nozzles, the working pressure can be reduced
• Can be thinned with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner
• Curing is improved by mild heat and air circulation

Finishing

The painted surface can be protected with Hobbynox Intercoat-Clear 2-in-1 Cover Coat or a compatible clear coat. Intercoat-Clear can also be mixed directly into the paint to improve adhesion and resistance to scratches and fuel residue.

What you need

• Airbrush and compressor
• White base paint for maximum neon effect
• Optionally Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner for thinning
• Optionally a clear coat for extra protection
