Deep black airbrush paint for RC and model building

Hobbynox Airbrush Color Solid Black is a water-based, opaque black airbrush paint with a flexible and durable finish. It is developed for polycarbonate (Lexan®) RC bodies, among other things, but can also be used on plastic, wood, metal, fabric, ceramics and glass.

Opaque base colour

The Solid/Opaque colours form the basis of the Hobbynox Airbrush Colors range and can be used on their own or mixed with other Hobbynox colours. Solid Black is also suitable as a background under transparent colours and as a backing for neon colours.

Application

• Recommended airbrush nozzle: 0.5 mm
• Recommended working pressure: 2.8–3.5 bar
• With smaller nozzles, the working pressure can be reduced
• Can be thinned with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner
• Curing is improved by mild heat and air circulation

Finishing

Hobbynox Intercoat-Clear can be applied as a protective intermediate coat or mixed directly into the paint. It can improve the paint's flow, adhesion and scratch resistance. Intercoat-Clear dries to a hard, smooth and matt surface that is suitable for masking afterwards.
