The all-new Crossrc EMO X4 is a rugged off-road pickup with a specially developed long-wheelbase climbing chassis. The car has separately built cab and rear sections, inspired by the real vehicle, and features nylon wheel arches and a cross-over style luggage rack that give a very practical cross-over look.

The front and rear bodies are mounted independently. The front body has a hidden quick-release lock and a simulated interior with driver, while the rear body is fixed at the back, so the battery and power system do not need to be removed. The luggage rack carries a simulated recovery board, an extra fuel tank and a small backpack speaker with dual sound effects.

From the factory, the car comes with a complete linked light group and 2 sets of powerful crossing spotlights, so you can climb mountains at night with clear visibility that is close to daylight. EMO X4's wheelbase is scaled in proportion to the real vehicle at 436mm, which is 61mm more than EMO X and greatly improves climbing on steep slopes. The car also has two speeds, independent front and rear differential locks, CNC-jointed shock absorbers, performance-oriented lightweight wheels and TALON MT tyres.

The whole car measures 712 x 301 x 286mm with a wheelbase of 436mm, giving exceptional climbing ability on steep slopes. The chassis has a newly cast heavy-duty long-wheelbase rail for added strength and reliability, and the battery compartment has been enlarged to 160x60x40mm, so larger batteries with higher voltage or capacity can be used. The 436mm ultra-long wheelbase uses a metal centre shaft for efficient and stable power transfer.

The large-diameter 20mm CNC shock absorbers give ample support combined with flexible suspension. The suspension uses reinforced ball joints and steering links that make the chassis more robust and impact-resistant during high-intensity manoeuvres such as slope impacts and landings. The newly developed rear balance link from Crossrc gives more stable handling at high speed and reduces body roll and other tipping movements caused by excessive centre of gravity shift. The solid, built-in door bridge structure gives sufficient torsional resistance for powerful power systems and ensures structural safety.

The gears are made by the PM process in high-strength alloy, with precision-cut teeth combined with high-strength hybrid nylon large gears that are hard-wearing and quiet. The ball bearings are high-quality ABEC3 grade, giving better weather resistance and longer maintenance intervals. The 2.2" lightweight nylon wheels are paired with TALON MT tyres made from professional synthetic materials that are very durable and puncture-resistant. The small Crossrc-designed backpack speaker delivers personalised dual sound effects and adds to the fun of driving the car.
