CROSSRC EMO XXL2 1/5 Crawling Kit ARTR (Gun Metal Gray)

The CROSSRC EMO XXL2 is the latest addition to the popular Big Dinosaur series – a hardcore off-road pickup crawler in 1/5 scale. With its striking, modern pickup design and a thorough modified look, the car has a dominant, aggressive appearance straight from the factory, complete with a multifunctional light system that adds extra character in the dark.

The chassis is built with a low centre of gravity for stability on slopes and challenging terrain. The frame is made from 2.5 mm thick steel plates, formed with 100-tonne pressing, which gives a solid foundation that can withstand hard impacts. Axles, beams and links are made from imported, specially formulated nylon materials, giving a good balance between strength and flexibility in the chassis.

Power is transferred via a dual drive system with all-metal gears for shift and output, designed to pull heavy loads. The steering uses a heavy-duty reverse portal axle combination with a maximum Ackermann angle of 5 degrees and inward and backward tilt angles of up to 8 degrees, giving more precise and stable steering – especially at higher speeds. The model also features CROSSRC’s first rear balanced link, introduced on this model, for even more finely tuned control.

The suspension is handled by 26 mm CNC-machined aluminium shock absorbers with adjustable preload and a maximum travel of 40 mm. The differential and gearbox shifting are controlled by servos with full travel, giving intelligent protection against overloading the servos. Finally, the car rolls on ROCK BREAKER "Crack Rock Roar" MT tyres with large vertical lugs that give solid grip on almost any surface.
