The CROSSRC EMO XXL2 is the latest addition to the popular Big Dinosaur series – a hardcore off-road pickup for climbing in large 1/5 scale. With its modern, sharp-edged pickup design and dominant look, the car signals strength and control even when standing still. A cool multifunctional light system gives an alert, almost living expression, and thanks to the complete modification package look, the car appears fully equipped straight from the factory.

Under the bonnet there are six major core upgrades: a low centre of gravity layout for maximum stability on steep climbs and descents, 100-tonne stamped steel beams up to 2.5 mm thick that handle hard impacts, a separate moulded pickup bed with a detailed look and practical load capacity, reinforced suspension points that resist impacts and wear, a heavy-duty load transmission and reduction system that protects the servos, and a self-balancing locking mechanism that makes it easy to take the car apart and fold it flat.

The chassis is built from 2.5 mm thick steel plates formed with 100-tonne pressing, while the axles, beams and links are made from specially formulated nylon for a good balance between strength and flexibility. The power transmission is dual and uses all-metal gears that can pull heavy loads. The heavy-duty reverse axle combination gives up to 5 degrees of Ackermann angle in corners, with 8 degrees of inward and 8 degrees of backward tilt, for more stable and precise steering at high speed. The car also features CROSSRC’s first rear balanced link, introduced on this model, for even more precise control.

The 26 mm shock absorbers are CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium with adjustable preload and up to 40 mm of travel. The differential and gear shift functions are controlled via the servos’ full travel, and an intelligent protection system ensures that the servos do not burn out if operated incorrectly. Finally, the car is fitted with ROCK BREAKER "Crack Rock Roar" MT tyres with strong vertical lugs that give solid grip on any surface.
