Kyosho EMO X2 1/8 ARTR Crawling Kit

The Rhino EMO X2 is a rugged-looking crawler in classic hard off-road style, built with a competition-inspired modified look and a simulated racing driver behind the wheel. The body is made of high-quality, thickened PC material and hides a practical fastening system. The car comes as standard with a great lighting system, controlled independently via one channel.

The chassis is built with a front-biased, low centre-of-gravity layout with the battery placed at the front. By changing the battery size you can adjust the car's climbing characteristics, and it is designed for ongoing upgrades such as unsprung counterweights, so you can fine-tune the handling both simply and professionally.

The rear axle has a newly developed balance link that absorbs and distributes lateral loads during hard driving – for example when crawling up slopes or making sharp steering turns. This protects the ball joints and suspension from snapping and breaking, and prevents the rear axle from shifting to one side, as can happen with an ordinary push rod.

The front and rear axles have a reinforced construction with thicker axles. The screws for the reduction components on the axle sides have a reinforced cross-section so they hold under high torque loads, and the steering link holder is made in one piece for extra strength. The new axle keeps an 8-degree kingpin caster angle for better road feel and more precise steering, while the power-transmitting shafts of the front and rear axles are raised by 10 degrees to reduce the driveshaft angle and counteract binding in the steering.
