Cross RC KR4-B Athletics 1/10 Crawling Kit

The KR4 is the latest addition to Cross RC's Demon series of crawlers, and this B version is called "Athletics". The model is supplied as a kit and combines a transparent PC body in a soft shell with a front look featuring 4 square lamps, a square grille and powerful LED lights. The front is completed by a chrome bumper, and the whole body has chrome detailing for a striking look.

In the Athletics version, the gearbox housing and transfer case housing are metal shells with steel gears, which sets it apart from the simpler A version (Sports), while it follows the same layout as the flagship version (C). The transfer case's integrated skid plate is metal, and the chassis's central brace is CNC-machined aluminium alloy. The vehicle is fitted with metal CVD propshafts front and rear and a reverse transmission function.

The running gear uses steel balls in the push rods, CNC aluminium alloy suspension links and angled metal CNC shock absorbers with double-pitch springs for a solid, adjustable crawling experience. The axles are the G2 axle with a carbon fibre nylon housing, and the axle gear is made of stainless powder-metallurgy steel. The hubs are CNC-machined aluminium alloy, while the wheel hubs themselves in the Athletics version have a retro metal finish. It is fitted with Black Rock tyres in size 115/45R 1.9 with high-density foam inserts.
