Crawling kit – PG4L 1/10 4x4 Pick-up

The PG4L is a detailed 1/10 scale crawling kit modelled on an American pickup truck. The body is made of ABS plastic and has a high level of detail, including front and rear bumpers with extra protection bars. The model comes with a tough chassis with C-shaped steel rails and moulded cross braces, giving a solid base for hard off-road driving.

The suspension is high quality with adjustable threaded shock absorbers. The front uses a dual-spring configuration, while the rear has scale dampers and steel leaf springs. The three-link front suspension has internally threaded aluminium links, and the rear axle is built with a solid steel leaf-spring construction. Power is transferred via a pre-assembled 2-speed aluminium gearbox with a 27T brushed motor and U/J propshafts that drive the heavy-duty front and rear axles.

Chrome details appear in several places on the model, including the bumpers, side steps, headlight surrounds, differential covers and roll cage, giving an authentic look. The wheels are 1.9" steel beadlock wheels (12mm hex) fitted with all-terrain tyres of 108mm diameter, and with dual rear wheels and heavy-duty front/rear axles the overall width is 293mm.

The model has a complete LED lighting system consisting of 4 headlights, 4 indicators, 2 front fog lights, 2 running/brake lights and 2 reversing lights, which can be used with most modern radio systems. There is also a box for electronics and a speaker (sold separately), and the PG4L can be fitted with the Cross-RC SK-2 pickup sound system and a 60mm 4 ohm full-range speaker. Operating the start/stop sound and horn requires a third proportional or 3-way channel, while steering and throttle require at least 2-channel equipment.
