Kyosho Inferno Neo 4.0 1:8 Nitro Buggy Readyset (KE21SP) Type 1

The Kyosho Inferno NEO 4.0 is a powerful 1/8 buggy from the world-famous Inferno GP range, which has won several world championships over the years. The model comes as a Readyset with a factory-assembled chassis, installed engine, R/C system and a pre-painted body – ready to run as soon as batteries are fitted in the transmitter and chassis and the tank is filled with fuel.

With a simplified break-in process thanks to a break-in ring, the nitro-powered Inferno NEO 4.0 suits both beginners and experienced RC enthusiasts. The engine is easy to start and gives smooth power delivery with the characteristic GP engine sound and exciting acceleration. The body is shared with the electric Inferno NEO 4.0 VE and comes in an original colour scheme that also contributes to good aerodynamics and easy handling.

The chassis is based on the well-proven platform of the Inferno series with shaft-driven 4WD, which gives stable grip even on low-traction surfaces. Three differentials (front, rear and centre) give excellent driving stability, while universal swing shafts provide efficient and reliable power transfer to the front wheels. Dual disc brakes deliver powerful braking, and the large oil-filled shock absorbers are designed to handle the weight of the large 1/8 chassis.

The steering and throttle servos are KS5071-09MW units with metal gears and waterproof construction, giving high responsiveness and precision even during demanding off-road driving. The receiver sits in a special radio box that protects it from dirt and dust, and it has a fail-safe function that prevents problems if the signal is lost. The included Synchro KT-231P+ pistol-grip transmitter has adjustable steering and throttle trim as well as servo travel settings, and has a light and ergonomic design.

Double-wishbone suspension with turnbuckle links makes it easy to adjust toe and camber angles, although the factory setup is already optimised. The included KC Cross tyres give good grip on both off-road and on-road surfaces with a long service life, and come pre-mounted on scale-look spoked wheels.
