In addition to the existing 3 mm, 5 mm and 8 mm tubes (item no. 70219, 70220 and 70221), these square tubes give you even more options when you build your own creations. It is 13 years since Tamiya last launched a new profile shape, and they are great for conversions, design work and your very own projects.

A 3 mm square tube fits inside a 5 mm tube, and a 5 mm tube inside an 8 mm one. The 2 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm square beams (item no. 70129, 70130 and 70131) fit inside the 3 mm, 5 mm and 8 mm tubes, and round beams, pipes, triangles and L-beams can also be inserted. The square shape stops the inserted part from turning. Clever!
