Metallic blue Tamiya PS spray paint for Lexan and polycarbonate bodies

Tamiya PS-16 Metallic Blue is a metallic blue spray paint developed specifically for clear polycarbonate and Lexan bodies for remote-controlled cars. The paint is applied to the inside of the body, so it is protected against scratches and knocks while driving.

The Tamiya PS series is designed to follow the flexible polycarbonate material and is also resistant to oil and fuel. One can contains 100 ml, which is typically intended for painting one complete RC body, depending on its size and the number of coats.

How to use the paint

• Clean and degrease the inside of the body thoroughly
• Mask windows and areas that will be painted in other colours
• Always paint the inside of the Lexan/polycarbonate body
• Hold the spray can approx. 30 cm from the surface
• Apply several thin coats rather than one heavy coat
• Let the paint dry between coats
